Introduction
  • A very few people are open and frank in the world of today.
  • I may not be an open capita because and there are times I just feel like keeping to myself,
  • And there are times I speak my mind without holding back.
Who this person is?
  • Somehow I think my uncle is a very open person.
  • I have seen and experienced his straightforward attitude.
  • He doesn’t hide his thoughts, he says what he thinks and feels, whether you like it or not.
  • He doesn’t sugarcoat words, he hits the nail on the head( going straight to the point).
  • We call him Uncle No nonsense, but his real name is Krish.
How do you know him?
  • He happens to be my mother’s younger brother.
  • He lived with us for a long time before he got married.
Why do you think the person is very open?
  • A few years before he got married, he gave me some money to get a few things from the supermarket,
  • I asked him to give me the list of things he wanted to get.
  • But instead he said I should be able to remember, that he doesn’t know the use of my brain if I can’t recollect the names of a few items.
  • I was so livid, no I was furious,
  • but I had to calm down because I knew how he was.
  • He doesn’t mean any harm even he doesn’t know how to put words in right sentence and he says what comes in his mind without thinking.

  • Sometimes i feel angry and sometimes I pity him,
  • Because so many people have taken offence to his attitude but don’t know he has no ideas what he is doing wrong.
  • He might seem rude but he doesn’t know how to hide his feelings about things.
  • It can be good at a time you need to hear the truth as it is.
  • So sometimes it’s good but most of the time it’s really bad.

Yes, Indians have difficulty expressing their feelings. Naturally most of men do not express their feelings, but for women they are seen as a subject that should only speak when spoken to. Today things are changing as females are being given the privilege to speak out.

Que 2. Who do you think talks more? Children or grown-ups?

Youngsters tend to talk more because they are always curious and enquire about everything they see or hear.

Que 3. What do you think is the difference between boys and girls in expressing their feelings?

Boys tend to speak about their feelings when they are with their friends. Same with girls. But girls tend to be more vocal about their emotions. After all we are called the weaker vessel.

Que 4. Do you think people are more open than in the past?

Yes, individuals are more extrovert about their feelings now than ancient time. On social media today you see people sharing their thoughts for the world to see. Whether it is right or wrong, they share it anyway. But in the past it wasn’t like that, people valued their privacy.
