Dear Sir/Madam,
Sample Answer Letter Of Complaint (Formal Letter)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter of my dissatisfaction with the increase you made recently to the monthly payment of my Insurance Premium. I do not think the modification is reasonable, hence would like you to reevaluate it.
I have been operating my car insurance with your company for the last 6 years and my insurance policy number is 3417649083-634-1. My monthly premium is high as it is, even higher than that of some of my friends and families. The 30% increase in the monthly insurance payment that you have decided to input is not satisfactory, because I am already paying higher and I don’t think there is any other prominent insurance company that has raised their premium recently.
Raising the premium, especially at a time when there is a set back in the economy of the country, goes against the insurance holders’ interest. It would be appreciated if you could write back to me with a valid and genuine explanation as to why you need to input the increase when others have not done so. I would solicit that you rethink the decision, if not, I am afraid I will have to move my car insurance policy to another company with a lesser price.
I am looking forward to receive your reply as soon as possible.
Yours Faithfully,
Mia Sharon

Write a letter to the course tutor. In your letter,

Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Sample Letter Of Request (Formal Letter)
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you about my decision to stop taking the part-time evening course I enrolled for.
I currently work as an Assistant Editor for a publishing company and I recently enrolled in a part-time evening course In Creative Writing to help to build my skills. But lately, I have been held up at work and have not been able to attend the class frequently as I ought to.
This is due to the workload I have been assigned at work. There is a book publication going on at work and all editors are required to work overtime so we can meet up with the date set for the book launch. I have been assigned more tasks and it is very time consuming and requires all my attention. Hence why I need to stop the evening course for a while.
Therefore I humbly bid you permit me to attend the next available batch. This would be beneficial for me to regulate my office work and continue my course on the other hand.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Bilton Mark

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
-explain the important event
-apologise for the situation
-suggest a new arrangement
You should write at least 150 words.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ………,
Sample Letter Of Explanation (Informal Letter)
Dear Rohit,
Hope you and your family are in good health. I am writing this letter to inform you about a change in my plans to visit during this coming holiday.
This is because of the sudden demise of my Grandfather and Uncle due to a car accident. This unfortunate news was given to us last night and things have been a bit disorganised since we received the news.
I sincerely apologise for the change in plans but I am required to stay with my Uncle’s wife as she just put to bed a few months ago and isn’t in the right frame of mind to take care of the baby because of her husband’s death.
I would still love to visit you once the funeral is done and this situation blows over. So I suggest we move the visit towards the end of June that way, I will celebrate the 4th of July with you. If that sounds good let me know as soon as possible.
Looking forward to your response.
With love,
Geoff Dev.

Write a letter to the college magazine. In your letter:
-Explain what you like about the cafeteria
-Say what is wrong with it
-Suggest how it could be improved
Write at least 150 words.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ………,
Sample Letter Of Request (Formal Letter)
Dear Mrs Phusuk,
I am writing this letter to share some of the improvement that I think would benefit the college cafeteria.
I realize that the college cafeteria has an incredible atmosphere and offers delightful and healthy food. I commend the hard work and effort of all the chefs and management for their endeavour to attend to the students who can be cranky and difficult to please. The management is doing an outstanding job in curtailing all excesses and making sure the cafeteria is in good shape and free of chaos.
Nevertheless, several students, including myself, believe that the food served in the cafeteria is costly. Our canteen charges 35-40rupees for lunch and this is extensively on the high side. There are a few other college canteens in the city that charges 15-20rupees
I think if this continues, students will promptly start to eat outside the campus due to the high price. I, on the other hand, would love to continue eating incredible dishes at our cafeteria. Therefore, I would like to recommend you publish an article about this matter, which will, in turn, help the canteen management become conscious of how pupils feel about their food price.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Marvin Devid.

-why you are not satisfied with that course
-what course you would like to change to
Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Sample Letter Of request (Formal Letter)
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to request a change in the course which I am currently enrolled in at your college.
I am a first-semester undergraduate student in your college, I am currently studying Law having Criminal Law as my major, as it was my parents’ ambition to see me graduate as a Lawyer. I have been attending class regularly for almost a month.
Since my first class, I have been struggling with understanding all we have been taught in criminal law, and I thought the issue would be resolved as the class progresses. However, I still have difficulties comprehending the tactics and study text, hence I would like to change my course.
I will prefer to major in Business Law as my new option because I feel that studying business law will develop my writing, problem-solving and analytical skills, alongside strong communication, negotiation and presentations skills. I will also be able to develop the ability to interpret and explain complex information both verbally and in writing – a key attribute when in the world of business. My student ID is LC 0067 and my date of admission is 12 September.
I am looking forward to a favourable response from you.
Yours faithfully,
Sweeti Ankush.
