Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter,

-describe the problem with the equipment
-explain what happens when you phoned the shop
-say what you would like the manager to do

I am writing this letter to lodge a formal complaint about a kitchen utensil I bought from your shop.

I came to your shop a week ago and I bought a microwave. But on getting home to make use of the microwave, or would not come on and when it did come on, it went off after a minute. I tried using it over and over again but it still would not work.

So I put a phone call through to the shop and I was told a new microwave will be delivered to me immediately. But it saddens me to say that to this moment no microwave has been delivered .

I would like to request the delivery of the microwave or a refund. I also think you should address your staff on keeping to an agreement. Lying to a customer only brings negative reactions from customers. I would be glad if my complaint was addressed soon.
