Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter:

-describe the item you lost
-explain how you lost it
-tell the insurance company what you would like them to do

You should write at least 150 words.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you about a very valuable item I misplaced during my holiday in the Bahamas.

My return flight was scheduled to leave the Bahamas by 9:00 am. and I was so busy that I lost track of time. In my bid to catch up with the flight, I forgot my 36 karat gold Rolex watch, my wallet which contained my credit card, business cards and about five thousand rupees.

On getting home I was check-in to see if I forgot anything and I discovered that these items were missing. I can’t categorically state if I forgot them at the hotel or they got lost while I was in transit.

I hereby desire that your insurance company would refund the cost of the items I lost as I have travel insurance that covers anything lost.
