Que 1. What kinds of work can young people get in foreign countries?
There are diverse jobs young people can get in foreign countries. But it all depends on their skills, experience, or interest. They can either work as a waiter/waitress, real estate agent, bartender, teacher, shop assistant, housekeeper, and the like. I won’t base these jobs on educational background because not all those who have gone through college have the opportunity to work for big companies. So even a degree holder can be a bartender.
Que 2. Is it good for young people to have the experience of living in other countries?
Research from those with experience shows it is good because it helps them develop diverse opinions on different aspects of life, like the economy, culture, politics, lifestyle, and much more. Once they leave their motherland, they will then learn the many differences between their motherland and the foreign country where they’re going to live and it becomes an eye-opener for them. They will be able to learn certain things like giving value to their own cultures and respecting other cultures, they will understand how people outside their motherland live their lives and how their government works, and more importantly, making a deeper understanding of life and appreciate what they’ve got.
Que 3. Why are some people unwilling to work in other countries?
Nobody wants to take the risk of living their comfort zone to a place where the assurance of getting a good job and living a good life is not certain. At the same time, some people are not risk-takers. We all know that taking risks is like gambling, it’s either it favors you or it does not. Some are unwilling because there is no assurance of safety. While others are unwilling because they have a successful business in their county and only travel to foreign countries for vacation or to close a business deal. Such people are simply satisfied and see no reason to move to a foreign country except for a business purpose.
Que 4. What’s the difference between working in an international company and working in a domestic one?
One of the differences is that working in an international company gives you much access to people from different countries and allows you to learn their cultural values and languages. An international company has a fast-paced environment meaning it makes decisions quickly and tasks are completed as scheduled. While. A domestic company doesn’t give you access to many things because you are within your comfort zone.
