Why is family important to you?

Hmm, Family has played an important part in who I have become. My parents made sure my siblings and I grew up in an atmosphere where no matter what we do we should never forget that family comes first. During my difficult times, my family was the one who stood by me. They loved me, chastised me, and still welcomed me with open hands. They never for once judged me or neglected me, all they had were words of encouragement. And I am eternally grateful for the type of family I grew up in.

What do you do together with your family?

In my family, we have movie nights and family dinners, no matter where we are we always make sure we come together for movie nights and family dinners. We also go on family vacations twice a year for bonding. We also have open-up nights, it is mostly done during our vacation. This is when each member of the family speaks up and out about what they are going through and also talks about what other members of the family might have done to offend them, and I tell you this night is always filled with a lot of emotions. We also have a family game night.

Do you have a large extended family?

Yes, an extra-large extended family. My Mom alone has 6 siblings and they all have at least 4 children each, one of my uncles even has 7 children, and my Dad has 5 siblings who also have children. Some of these children also have children. I don’t even know all my relatives. That’s why we hold family reunions so we can get to know some of the relatives we don’t know.

Do you like brands? Why or why not?

Yes I love brands, because of the peace of mind it provides. When I buy clothes I want comfort, happiness, and satisfaction and I get it in part through the products I buy. If I use brands consistently and it delivers a positive experience, I form an opinion that the brand is trustworthy, which gives me peace of mind when buying.
