Do you think that children should do housework?
Yes, given children housework to do helps them to be responsible and helps them to contribute to the day-to-day activities of the household.

Yes I did, I always help with clearing the dining table after each meal and I also help my Mom in the kitchen. I help my sister in drying the plates after she washes them, and I help my brother in folding clothes after they have been washed and dried.
Most of the time I clear the dining tables after each meal and then wash all the plates. I also sweep and make sure the living room and kitchen are kept clean. I often help my Mom in the kitchen too.
Yes, it is compulsory in my family. No member of my family is permitted to sit idle without doing anything. Even my brother was trained as a girl. He knew how to cook, the sweep was clothes, and any other household chores you can think of. My mom didn’t take it easy on me and my sister either. And being the last born I was given most of the chores to do, which was always so annoying.
Hmm, Family has played an important part in who I have become. My parents made sure my siblings and I grew up in an atmosphere where no matter what we do we should never forget that family comes first. During my difficult times, my family was the one who stood by me. They loved me, chastised me, and still welcomed me with open hands. They never for once judged me or neglected me, all they had were words of encouragement. And I am eternally grateful for the type of family I grew up in.
In my family, we have movie nights and family dinners, no matter where we are we always make sure we come together for movie nights and family dinners. We also go on family vacations twice a year for bonding. We also have open-up nights, it is mostly done during our vacation. This is when each member of the family speaks up and out about what they are going through and also talks about what other members of the family might have done to offend them, and I tell you this night is always filled with a lot of emotions. We also have a family game night.
