Sample of Letter of Invitation to a friend{Informal/Personal Letter}
Dear Mia,
I hope this letter finds you well. I haven’t forgotten how much you helped me when you came to my rescue when my landlord threatened to throw me out because of the lack of payment of my house rent. You saved me from being homeless.
To show my appreciation I bought two tickets to your favourite band music concert that is going to be held in the town hall next Saturday. The concert will start at 7 pm. I hope you will be free to join me.
The band will play different rock n roll songs, your favourite kind, so I am confident we are going to have so much fun there.
Although I was onⁿly able to purchase two tickets for us, two of my colleagues Priya and Amir, whom you met at my last birthday party also bought tickets online. We can all go together, the more, the merrier. So, let me know if you are going to be able to join us. Give my love to your family.
Looking forward to seeing you at the town hall next Saturday.
Yours sincerely,
Manju Khurana

Sample Letter of Request {Semi Formal Letter}
Dear Sir,
I hereby write this letter to change my working hours from full time to part-time. This is to enable me to further my studies.
I just picked up a full-time form with one of the universities around, precisely the University of Mumbai. Checking the time table for my lecture schedule, I discovered that my lecture days are majorly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
I will be studying Business management and I think it will go a long way to make my work more effective and I will also be able to handle more projects successfully if I acquire this knowledge and skills.
I will work on Tuesdays, Thursdays and will equally come in on Saturdays so I can finish my work for the week. I will work for long hours on these days to cover up for the missed days.
I would be grateful if you would allow me to work as a part-time staff member. Looking forward to a positive response from you. Thank you.
Yours Faithfully,
Ranju Gupta

Sample Letter of Request {Formal Letter}
Dear Sir,
The purpose of writing this letter to request you to install additional sports equipment in our locality for people between the age of 18 to 32 years.
Currently, the only sports available in our locality are draft and chess, which are mostly played and enjoyed by the elders. However, there are no sports facilities made available for young folks like myself.
I would request you to kindly consider constructing additional sporting infrastructures for games such as swimming pools, basketball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, football and lawn tennis which are more eligible for the youths. Also, I would petition you to establish favourable lighting facilities so we can play anytime.
These sports games are eligible for working people. By playing these sports, it does not only helps to decrease their stress level but can also help to keep them physically and mentally fit.I hope you will give my suggestions and will take necessary and quick action.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Rohan Kumar

Sample Answer
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to bring your attention to an unforeseen health issue which I have been facing since I assumed the job in the Headquarters.
I had been working at one of the town branches for the past two years, and it is just two months since I started my job as the Executive Assistance here at the Headquarters. After a month of my joining, I started having constant migraine which sometimes makes my eyes ache and I get dizzy spells too. Hence, I visited a doctor last week, and he confirmed that it is not just a feeling, that if I don’t reduce the amount of time I spend facing the computer system it could affect my eyesight.
My job requires me to spend much time typing, editing and making necessary corrections to document, coupled with the daily quota of research I am meant to make and write on. So I spend a large chunk of my day in front of a computer system and I think this might have caused this problem.
I settled to get glasses to help reduce the effect of the black light of the computer system on my eyes, but the migraine kept getting worse and the glasses didn’t help with the eye ache. It would be appreciated if you could reduce the number of hours I spend on the computer system for the main time for me to get a better solution to the issue, that way I would be able to work more effectively.
I look forward to a favourable reply from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Preeti Thakur.

Dear Sir,
I hope you are well! I previously worked in your company as a branch manager and I performed all the tasks assigned to me with effectiveness and diligence. I have learnt so many wonderful things while working for you but I want to explore my potentials.
I am in the process of applying for a position as an Executive Manager in an international company based in Dubai. I want to explore more work options, learn different cultures and also experience working in a different work environment and part of the application requires a letter of reference from someone who can effectively elaborate on my work habits, abilities and accomplishments. Based on my years of working with you, I believe you can help provide an effective, honest, and detailed letter on my behalf.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could write a letter of reference for me that can help emphasize the positive work habits I’ve shown since we’ve known each other. The deadline for submitting the letter is the 21st of April 2021. If this deadline is too soon and you are unable to provide a letter by that time, please let me know as soon as possible. Additionally, if there is any information I can provide that will help you write the letter in more detail, I would be happy to submit it to you. Looking forward to your response.
Thank you for your time and efforts on my behalf.

Nishan Kumar.
